The programs are designed to provide students with knowledge and experiences necessary for successful careers and further study in science, engineering and mathematics. The college also assists in the preparation of K-12 mathematics and science teachers, and provides experiences in the sciences and mathematics for all TCU undergraduate students.
Opportunities for participation in research exist in every department and program. Besides working with graduate students, many faculty members involve undergraduates in their research. Students who engage in such activities have learning experiences that go well beyond those available in a traditional undergraduate curriculum, gaining hands-on experience in cutting-edge research fields, as well as authoring journal articles and presenting research at conferences and workshops.
