The College of Fine Arts enrolls more than 900 students. Majors are in 17 fields, and students choose from among 27 concentrations. Students come from throughout Texas, 31 states and 15 foreign countries. They represent a diversity of cultures, ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds that create a stimulating and vibrant environment. Resources available to students include numerous computer labs, specialized libraries, galleries, art studios, theaters, and performance and recital halls.
Our programs enjoy close working relationships with the Kimbell Art Museum, the Fort Worth Symphony, Texas Ballet Theater and the other visual and performing arts institutions in Fort Worth. Internships and practical and diverse off-campus experiences enable students to receive current knowledge in their fields from a variety of arts professionals.
Our arts programs also offer a wide range of international learning experiences. This is increasingly vital to understanding life in our global community. TCU has programs across the world. But international study is not limited to those who can travel. In the College of Fine Arts, international faculty share their cultures in the classroom. We also have international visiting faculty, guest artists and performers who interact with students throughout the year enriching their learning experiences.
The College of Fine Arts is sustained by generous supporters just like you. Whether you are an alumnus of TCU or of the college itself; a member of the university's faculty, staff or student body; or a neighbor, friend or community member who simply believes in encouraging excellence among our young people in the arts, you can make a difference.
