Julie Whitt
Associate Vice Chancellor of Donor Relations
Julie Whitt began her time with University Advancement at Texas Christian University in 2006 as the Director of Reunion Programs for the Office of Annual Giving. In 2007, she became the Assistant Director of Annual Giving and then joined the Office of Donor Relations in 2010 as Assistant Vice Chancellor. In her current role as Associate Vice Chancellor, Julie oversees strategic plans for stewardship, campaign related events and the Clark Society Board. Prior to TCU, she spent six years working for Tyler Junior College, where her final role was Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Special Events for the TJC Foundation. Julie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Texas at Tyler and is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and the Association of Donor Relations Professionals (ADRP).

Amanda Burmeister
Donor Stewardship Coordinator
Amanda Burmeister graduated from TCU in 2015 with a B.S. in Strategic Communication and a Minor in Business. Before joining the Donor Relations team, she worked in a variety of public relations sectors including nonprofit, agency and independent business. In addition to her professional experience, she studied abroad in London for a semester. In her role as Donor Stewardship Coordinator, she produces donor stewardship material for events and other projects, oversees the process of creating awards for the Clark Society and maintains photo inventory of all named campus facilities.

Lauren Coker
Assistant Director of Events
Lauren earned a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies in 2014 and a M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration in 2016 from Texas Tech University. Before joining the Donor Relations team, she worked as an event coordinator in Institutional Advancement for the Texas Tech University System. In Donor Relations, she develops, plans, implements and analyzes high-profile special events that carry out the mission and initiatives of the University.

Jennifer Workman Pitcock, Ph.D.
Assistant Director of Endowment Reporting
Jenny Pitcock joined Donor Relations in the fall of 2015. Before coming to TCU, she worked as a freelance writer and editor. In her role as Assistant Director for Endowment Reporting, Jenny writes acknowledgement letters for gifts, researches and writes reports to donors on funds they have endowed, and helps create individualized stewardship plans. She holds an M.A. in English from Indiana State University, and a Ph.D in American Literature from the University of Kentucky.

Samantha Suttle
Assistant Director and Scholarship Coordinator
Samantha Suttle joined the Donor Relations team in June 2011. Suttle earned a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from TCU in 2006 and a Master of Liberal Arts degree from TCU in 2015. Upon completing her undergraduate degree, she worked at KXAS/NBC 5 before landing a job as a TV news reporter in Sioux City, Iowa. She later worked at the city newspaper, the Sioux City Journal, before moving back to Fort Worth in July 2010. She returned to NBC 5 as an associate producer, helping write the newscasts all while readjusting to the scorching Texas summer after surviving three brutal winters in Northwest Iowa. In her role as Scholarship Coordinator, Samantha is responsible for matching scholarships, reporting to donors and helping plan the annual Scholarship Dinner in the spring. She is excited to be back on campus, in Horned Frog country.

Cindy Coffin
Administrative Assistant
Cindy Coffin, Administrative Assistant, began working in the Donor Relations office in September 2010, having just relocated to Fort Worth from El Paso, Texas. She provides general office support to the Donor Relations staff and supervises the student workers. Cindy is mom to two TCU grads and an adorable granddaughter.
