Julie WhittJulie Whitt

Associate Vice Chancellor of Donor Relations

Julie Whitt began her time with University Advancement at Texas Christian University in 2006 as the Director of Reunion Programs for the Office of Annual Giving. In 2007, she became the Assistant Director of Annual Giving and then joined the Office of Donor Relations in 2010 as Assistant Vice Chancellor. In her current role as Associate Vice Chancellor, Julie oversees strategic plans for stewardship, campaign related events and the Clark Society Board. Prior to TCU, she spent six years working for Tyler Junior College, where her final role was Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Special Events for the TJC Foundation. Julie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Texas at Tyler and is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and the Association of Donor Relations Professionals (ADRP).

Beth CardwellBeth Cardwell

Senior Director of Donor Relations

Beth Cardwell joined University Advancement in 2008 as the Assistant Director of Gift Planning. She became the Associate Director of Gift Planning in 2012 and in 2017, joined the Office of Donor Relations. In her current role as Senior Director of Donor Relations, Beth manages activities for the Clark Society and Clark Society Board as well as the daily operations of the Donor Relations Office, including special events, the endowed scholarship and endowed fund programs and the gift acknowledgement process. Prior to joining TCU, Beth spent seven years working for Frost Financial Management Group, now Frost Wealth Advisors, where her final role was Assistant Vice President. Beth holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurial Management from TCU and is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), the Association of Donor Relations Professionals (ADRP) and the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (CGP).

Cindy CoffinCindy Coffin

Coordinator of Office Services

Cindy Coffin, Coordinator of Office Services, began working in the Office of Donor Relations in September 2010. She manages the department budget, works closely with Clark Society activities, supports the Associate Vice-Chancellor, the Director and supervises the student worker. Cindy grew up in El Paso, Texas and still misses the great Mexican food. She is mom to two TCU grads and an adorable granddaughter. Cindy serves as the Secretary of the TCU Staff Assembly.

Assistant Director of Scholarship Programs

Karen Crouch joined University Advancement in 2016 as Manager of Training and Documentation Programs and transitioned to the Donor Relations team in 2019. In her current role as Assistant Director of Scholarship Programs, Karen manages a strategic scholarship stewardship program that includes donor reporting, scholarship events and other opportunities for recognition; provides guidance and support to University partners for donor scholarship agreements; manages the scholarship matching process to ensure the donor’s intent is met and educates scholarship recipients, enlisting their partnership with stewardship efforts. Prior to joining TCU, Karen spent 21 years working for Alcon Laboratories where her final role was Global ERP Training Manager. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Pathology from TCU and is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and the Association of Donor Relations Professionals (ADRP).

Lori Dibrell

Lori Dibrell

Administrative Assistant

Lori Dibrell, Administrative Assistant, began working in the Office of Donor Relations in September of 2016. Before joining TCU, Lori was employed with Arlington Independent School District where she was a kindergarten teaching assistant for almost seven years. Lori supports the Donor Relations staff and also downloads, edits and track acknowledgment letters throughout the review process until they are mailed to the donors.

Andrea LosaAndrea Losa

Donor Stewardship Writer

Andrea Losa joined the Donor Relations staff in November 2018 as the Donor Stewardship Writer. Her position as Donor Stewardship Writer involves tracking donor acknowledgments, researching and writing reports for donors on the impact of their gifts, producing other written communication to donors and assisting with the overall stewardship of donors. Andrea is a 2008 graduate of TCU and a Community Scholar. Prior to returning to TCU, Andrea worked as an instructional associate in the writing center at Tarrant County College Northwest Campus, worked as a freelance writer and served as an AmeriCorps VISTA in the Department of Educational Initiatives for Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star. Having personally benefited from the generosity of TCU donors, Andrea is thankful to have the chance to serve her alma mater in this capacity and help ensure the recognition of our valued donors.

Jenny PitcockJennifer Workman Pitcock, Ph.D.

Assistant Director of Endowment Reporting

Jenny Pitcock joined Donor Relations in the fall of 2015. Before coming to TCU, she worked as a freelance writer and editor. In her role as Assistant Director for Endowment Reporting, Jenny writes acknowledgment letters for gifts, researches and writes reports to donors which highlight the impact of funds they have endowed and helps create individualized stewardship plans for donors. She holds an M.A. in English from Indiana State University, and a Ph.D in American Literature from the University of Kentucky.
