Year-End Giving

• Date your check on or before Dec. 31, and be sure it is postmarked on or before Dec. 31.

Checks must be received and deposited before the close of business on Dec. 31. Electronic transfers of IRA gifts received via ACH, wires or EFTs must be received by Dec. 31. Note: Due to the holiday, domestic and international cutoff times may vary and close early. Please check with your financial institution.

Gifts of appreciated securities must arrive in our brokerage account by the end of the trading day prior to or on Dec. 30 (the last trading day of the calendar year). Please be aware that this is the deadline for the funds to be in our brokerage account, and this requires lead time for your broker to transfer the funds, which can be at least three to five business days. If the securities are electronically transferred to us, the gift date is the day the securities enter our account − not the date you ask your broker to make the transfer.
