Due to the outpouring of generosity from friends, family, classmates, as well as members of the TCU and Fort Worth communities, the Wes Smith Memorial Scholarship for Excellence in Leadership has been established.

This permanent scholarship is awarded annually to a TCU student demonstrating the qualities that were important to Wes, including: Academics, Athletics, Community Service, Campus Involvement, Philanthropy, and Faith-Based Initiatives.
