Every medical student completes a Scholarly Pursuit and Thesis (SPT) research project, integrated across all four years of study, and some students also participate in additional research opportunities. This fund supports research-related expenses and enables students to present their findings at national conferences, where they collaborate, network, and grow as physician-scholars.
