The Clark Society Endowed Faculty Award was established by members of the Clark Society in 2020 to recognize the incredible research and creative activities of faculty who excel as teachers and scholars and prioritize engagement with students. Awardees will receive $2,500 or more to be used for teaching, research and creative programming with the ultimate goal of benefiting students. The award will recognize at least one faculty member per year with the goal of expanding the annual award to recognize the efforts of multiple faculty members across various disciplines.
Nomination Period: Opens Fall 2024
Nominations may be made by any student at the undergraduate or graduate level. This is an annual award, and faculty can be nominated each year they are eligible, regardless of previous nominations and awards.
Please note: student nominations may be used for marketing materials or shared with nominees.
Qualifications:
- Be a full-time faculty member (tenure-track professor, professor of professional practice or full-time instructor/lecturer)
- Excel in teaching/scholarship/creative activity
- Prioritize engagement with students
Next Steps:
- Eligible faculty will be invited to apply by completing an online application form where they will provide a brief description of how they would utilize the funds, if chosen.
- The 2025-2026 recipient(s) will be selected by the Clark Society Endowed Faculty Fund Committee in March 2025.

- The Office of Donor Relations will ask eligible faculty to submit an application after student nominations have been received.
What do I need to submit?
- Eligible faculty will submit a completed online application form as well as uploading a one-page proposal.
About the Clark Society
The Clark Society was created in 1977 to recognize the generosity of TCU's leadership-level donors. Investments made by Clark Society members are the foundation of TCU's tradition of excellence.
The Clark Society consists of donors who give a minimum of $1,000 to TCU annually. This group benefits TCU in all areas — from undesignated gifts to those earmarked for athletics, from the creation of endowed scholarships to underwriting chairs and professorships in the various schools and colleges.
