A new $300 million scholarship initiative will help keep a TCU education within reach for outstanding students and expand access for future Horned Frogs.

“Competition for the best and brightest students is intense,” said Chancellor Daniel W. Pullin, “and as TCU says ‘yes’ to students who are a great fit for our campus, we must ensure that affordability is never the reason any of them say no.”

The university has increased its financial aid offering by more than $150 million over the past decade, and the initiative extends that commitment through need-based and merit awards that include the Chancellor’s Scholars and Community Scholars programs. Guided by the university’s strategic plan, LEAD ON: Values in Action™, the TCU Scholarship Initiative helps ensure that admission criteria, not ability to pay, decides who becomes a Horned Frog.

“Together, we’ve established a strong track record of fundraising for scholarships,” Chancellor Pullin noted. “In fact, we have already raised more than $100 million in new scholarship dollars since the end of the last campaign in 2023, representing momentum toward our $300 million goal.

“This new initiative will expand scholarships so the TCU experience stays within reach of every student who earns it. We’re grateful for the many generous donors who partner with us to make this possible!”
