Credit card gifts can be made online through Thursday, Dec. 31, by 11:59 p.m. CST. Please visit makeagift.tcu.edu.
By Mail
For tax purposes, credit card gifts must be received, charged and approved — not just postmarked — by Thursday, Dec. 31, to count as a 2026 calendar year gift. This is only for credit card gifts sent in the mail.
By Telephone
Call 817-257-7800 for assistance with your credit card gift by phone. Please call prior to 4 p.m. CST on Thursday, Dec. 31.
Checks must be received and deposited before the close of business on Dec. 31. Electronic transfers of IRA gifts received via ACH, wires or EFTs must be received by Dec. 31. Note: Due to the holiday, domestic and international cutoff times may vary and close early. Please check with your financial institution.
Gifts of appreciated securities must arrive in our brokerage account by the end of the trading day prior to or on Dec. 30 (the last full trading day of the calendar year). Please be aware that this is the deadline for the funds to be in our brokerage account, and this requires lead time for your broker to transfer the funds, which can be at least three to five business days. If the securities are electronically transferred to us, the gift date is the day the securities enter our account − not the date you ask your broker to make the transfer.
Make an electronic stock gift by providing your broker with the following delivery information:
Truist Investment Services
5128 Apache Plume #340
Fort Worth, TX 76109
DTC Number 0226
Texas Christian University / WA7-209541
For all gifts of securities, please call Gift Planning at 817-257-7299 or email giftplanning@tcu.edu.
