Celebrating Our History and Honoring Our Accomplishments

In conjunction with the university’s Sesquicentennial celebration, the TCU Black Excellence Gala will commemorate and honor the contributions Black students, faculty, staff and alumni have made to the institution throughout its 150-year history. The program will feature performances by talented artists, and awards will be presented to TCU-affiliated honorees who will be recognized for their significant influences in the community. All funding received will support the gala and any remaining proceeds will be contributed to the TCU Black Alumni Alliance Scholarship which rewards scholarships to rising juniors or seniors at TCU enabling these students to fulfill their academic goals with additional financial support.
