TCU and Horned Frogs Sports Properties Announce Partnership with iHeartMedia

Comprehensive radio content package to enhance coverage and exposure for the Horned Frogs

FORT WORTH -- TCU Athletics and Learfield's Horned Frogs Sports Properties, its exclusive multimedia rightsholder, have announced a five-year partnership with iHeartMedia Dallas/Fort Worth to provide a comprehensive radio content package to enhance coverage and exposure for the Horned Frogs.

The new partnership kicks off this fall with TCU football games airing on iHeartMedia's Lone Star 92.5 station. Alongside game broadcasts, the classic rock station will feature a 60-minute pregame show and a 45-minute postgame show. Additionally, Lone Star 92.5 will host the weekly radio show for Head Football Coach Sonny Dykes.

TCU men's basketball will also have a new home on iHeartMedia's Talk Radio 1190 AM. The station will offer 30-minute pregame and 45-minute postgame shows during game broadcasts. Talk Radio 1190 AM will also air radio shows featuring Head Men's Basketball Coach Jamie Dixon and Head Baseball Coach Kirk Saarloos.

"We are very proud to enhance the TCU brand through the phenomenal reach of iHeart and its many assets," said TCU Deputy Athletics Director for External Affairs Ryan Peck. "Special thanks to Jay Fields, General Manager of Horned Frogs Sports Properties, and our friends at iHeart for making this partnership possible. It aligns perfectly with our goal to meet the expectations and demands of our very passionate fan base for additional TCU content."

"We are excited to team up with TCU to bring Dallas-Fort Worth sports fans exclusive access to Horned Frogs games, programming and events," said Kevin LeGrett, President of iHeartSports. "As iHeartSports continues to grow our play-by-play and sports programming, adding TCU is another example of our commitment to delivering premium sports content to dedicated sports fans across the country. Our stations in Texas will keep listeners up-to-date all season long."

iHeart will also partner with TCU in various promotional activities through its stations along with a presence at Frog Alley for TCU home football games. The award-winning Horned Frogs Sports Network's Brian Estridge will continue in his longtime role as the 'Voice of the Horned Frogs.' Landry Burdine and Elvis Gallegos will again join Estridge on the football broadcasts, while Colin Boddicker and Bingo Merriex remain a part of the men's basketball commentary team.

"We're thrilled to partner with iHeartMedia through this collaboration, which marks an exciting chapter for TCU Athletics," said Jay Fields, General Manager of Horned Frogs Sports Properties. "We look forward to providing engaging content for the university's fans, as we continue to elevate the Horned Frogs brand and deepen its connection with the TCU community."
