FORT WORTH – Tania Moreno, Rochelle Scott and Ana Vergara were named to the 2023 Academic All-District Women's At-Large Teams by College Sports Communicators.
 
A total of 13 Coastal Collegiate Sports Association Beach Volleyball student-athletes were included on the list. TCU's three student-athletes tied South Carolina and Florida State for the most selections.
 
The 2023 Academic All-District Women's At Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. Moreno, Scott and Vergara also joined TCU rifle's Stephanie Grundsoee and Kristen Hemphill on the 2023 Academic All-District list.
 
Moreno, Scott and Vergara helped TCU advance to its first ever NCAA Semifinals. The Horned Frogs finished 37-3 and earned its highest-ever end of season ranking, being tabbed No. 3 in the final AVCA poll. TCU also claimed the CCSA Championship, led by AVCA Coach of the Year Hector Gutierrez and the AVCA Pair of the Year, Daniela Alvarez and Moreno.
