Last Time Out
The Frogs recorded several winning marks at the Jarvis Scott Open.
Jaren Holmes' 16.28m (53-5) earned him the win in the triple jump finals. It was a personal-best for Holmes and is good for the seventh best mark in the NCAA this season.
Additionally, four other Frogs advanced to the triple jump finals.
Theophilus Mudzengerere placed second with his 15.67m (51-5.0), which puts him at No. 31 on the NCAA performance list.
Patrick Sylla finished fourth at 15.23m (49-11.75) and
Damilare Olukosi took fifth with 15.19m (49-10).
Gavin Champ finished eighth with his leap of 14.74m (48-4.50).
Quinn Calhoun earned her first win of the season with a personal-best vault of 4.11m (13-5.75). She is now second on TCU's all-time indoor records list.
Mariana Martinez's time of 10:24.91 was good for a first-place finish in the 3,000m. She won the race by over five seconds.
Iyana Gray continued her successful weekend with a second-place finish in the 200m. She clocked a 23.54, adding to her second-place finish in the 60m on Friday night.
USTFCCCA Rankings
In the latest edition of the USTFCCCA rankings, TCU's men's triple jumpers are currently third nationally in the #EventSquad rankings. Holmes' season-best 16.28m leads the pack while Mudzengerere is 33rd on the NCAA performance list with his jump of 15.67m (51-3.75).
Sylla's 14.97m (49-1.5) and Olukosi's 15.19m (49-10) round out the top four jumpers for TCU.

2022 Recap
Chengetayi (Du) Mapaya won his second outdoor title in the triple jump at the 2022 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Mapaya's defining jump came on his third attempt when the Harare, Zimbabwe, native jumped 17.26m (56-7.50) breaking his own school record and recording a life-time best. It was the second time that season Mapaya cleared 17.00m.
Additionally, the men's 4x100 relay team of
Bryson Stubblefield,
Tinotenda Matiyenga,
Kundai Maguranyanga and
Robert Gregory Jr. were named First Team All-Americans in the 4x100 relay after finishing seventh in the finals with a time of 39.08.
Gracie Morris (1500m) and
Grace Anigbata (triple jump) both earned Honorable Mention All America honors as well. TCU concluded the 2021-22 season winning three individual Big 12 Championships and breaking eight school records.
