Donati Announces Hiring of Peck as Deputy AD

Peck will oversee all TCU external units

FORT WORTH -- TCU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Jeremiah Donati has announced the hiring of Ryan Peck as Deputy Athletics Director for External Affairs.

Peck served the last seven years in different capacities at UNT, most recently as Associate Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer. During his time in Denton, UNT had its best fundraising years while securing the top four gifts in school history. Peck was previously the Mean Green's Deputy Athletics Director for External Operations.

Throughout his career, Peck has been part of record-setting ticket, licensing and fan engagement metrics.

"We are extremely excited to welcome Ryan and his family to TCU," Donati said. "Ryan will play a major role for us with a focus on leadership, team development, fan experience and revenue generation. I have always been impressed with his work at UNT. He was very creative and innovative in his thinking and results were seen, which is why he is so highly regarded in our industry. Ryan is also a tremendous person who will be a great fit and teammate for us as well as the campus and Fort Worth communities."

Peck will oversee all TCU external units, including communications, creative content, licensing, marketing and ticketing while also working closely with the Frog Club. Additionally, he will serve as TCU's liaison in the partnership with LEARFIELD and Horned Frog Sports Properties.

"I very much appreciate Jeremiah Donati providing this incredible opportunity," Peck said. "Being in the DFW Metroplex the last seven years, I have seen firsthand and admired how TCU and Fort Worth are synonymous with each other. Building off its most successful year ever across the board, there is incredible momentum around the athletics program. It's an honor to now be a part of it as we will continue to grow the brand globally. My family and I are ecstatic to join the Horned Frogs family, and I can't wait to get started."

While at UNT and as a member of the executive leadership team, Peck had oversight of the Mean Green Scholarship Fund, ticketing, licensing, the Mean Green for Life Letterwinners Association and the partnership with LEARFIELD. Peck was also instrumental in UNT completing a restructuring of athletics giving while negotiating lucrative contracts for multimedia rights, licensing and stadium naming rights which contributed to record revenues.

After being hired as UNT's Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director and being initially promoted to Deputy Athletics Director, Peck was named Associate Vice President in February 2023.

Prior to UNT, Peck worked five years at Denver as Associate Vice Chancellor for External Affairs. Peck oversaw fundraising, ticketing, marketing, communications, corporate sponsorships, creative services and technical services. He secured more than 50 new scholarship endowments, was the first in the country to achieve 100 percent student-athlete and staff giving, completed multiple capital enhancement projects, expanded media exposure across all sports and was part of a department that captured numerous I-AAA Learfield Sports Directors' Cups and NCAA National Championships.

From 2008-10, Peck managed all aspects of the athletics annual fund program and was the director of marketing and promotions at Chattanooga. He increased football ticket sales revenue more than 144 percent as the Mocs broke an all-time record for season tickets.

Born in North Carolina, Peck grew up in Lilburn, Ga. During his collegiate days, he was a four-year letterman as a soccer student-athlete at Lander where he received a bachelor's degree in business administration. He later earned his MBA from FAU.

Peck and his wife Emma have a son, Brayden, and soon-to-be-born daughter Georgia.
