FORT WORTH – TCU women's soccer student-athletes
Gracie Brian and
Messiah Bright have been tabbed United Soccer Coaches Association All-Americans.
Bright was named a 2nd-team All-American while Brian was selected to the 3rd-team. Bright is a back-to-back All-American after earning 1st-team accolades in 2021.
Brian had a stellar senior campaign in which she became the program's all-time assist leader (24). She finished the season second on the team with 18 points (7G, 4A) and led the team with four game-winning goals. She played the entirety of seven matches throughout the season and contributed to multiple goals three times. Brian recorded a season-high five points with two goals and an assist in TCU's 7-0 win over No. 16 Santa Clara. She also garnered 1st-team All-Big 12 honors.
Bright capped off her five-year career as the most prolific offensive player in program history. She is the all-time leader in goals (50) and points (118). She led the team in points this season with 26 (11G, 4A) and garnered 1st-team All-Big 12 honors. A United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Week selection (Aug. 31), Bright became the first player in TCU history to record two hat tricks with three goals at UTRGV (Aug. 29). She contributed to multiple goals in four games and scored two game-winners on the season.
