FORT WORTH – The TCU women's soccer coaching staff was voted as the Midwest Region Staff of the Year for the third consecutive year.
TCU earned its seventh consecutive NCAA Tournament bid and was selected as the No. 5 seed in the Notre Dame quadrant. The Horned Frogs advanced to its third consecutive Sweet 16 and ended the season with a 14-5-5 record. In league play, the Frogs finished second in the regular season standings with a 5-1-3 mark. TCU advanced to the Big 12 Championship game, it's fourth appearance in the last five tournaments.

Eric Bell, in his 11
th season at the helm, along with his staff of
Ryan Higginbotham,
Tom Serratore and
Ana Auger-Crossman, mentored a league-leading 10 All-Big 12 selections.
Grace Coppinger was named Big 12 Freshman of the Year and five Frogs (
Gracie Brian,
Messiah Bright,
Chaylyn Hubbard,
Lauren Kellett and
Camryn Lancaster) were tabbed 1st-team all-conference performers.
Olivia Hasler garnered 2nd-team All-Big 12 accolades, while Coppinger,
Seven Castain,
Kennedy Clountz and Tyler Isgrig were selected to the Big 12 All-Freshman squad.
Brian and Bright both notched major milestones in 2022. Bright, who is the program's all-time leader in points (118), scored her 50th career goal against Oklahoma in the Big 12 Tournament. On that same goal, Brian became the program's all-time leader in assists (24). Both players, along with Hubbard, Lancaster and
Oli Pena, were named to the Big 12 All-Tournament team.
A trio of Frogs, Brian, Bright and Hubbard were tabbed 1st-team all-Midwest Region performers, while Lancaster earned a spot on the 3rd-team.
The Frogs are one of six teams to advance to the Sweet 16 in each of the past three seasons and one of 14 squads to have appeared in each of the last seven NCAA Tournaments. TCU went 3-1-2 against ranked opponents and finished first in the Big 12 in RPI.
